ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

I was recently introduced to Acure Organics and I must say I’ve been enjoying this vegan-friendly beauty brand. ACURE is a family owned and operated Wellness Company that produces high quality and certified organic products. Each of their product is free from gluten, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives, and artificial colors. Today I want to share a few things that I’ve been using:

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

ACURE brightening face mask – US $9.99

-argan stem cell + chlorella

Work over your cells with the power of Moroccan Argan Stem Cells and Chlorella Growth Factor, a true synergy of cell revitalization. French Green Clay draws out impurities while Moroccan Argan Oil, CoQ10 and Seabuckthorn Oil provide moisture.

This is a nice mask that you’re supposed to leave on for 10-15 minutes. Once removed, the skin feels instantly clean and soft but I did not particular see a brightening effect. This is a gentle mask so I really don’t think it will extract deep imperfections but it is effective for those with sensitive skin. I found that it rinses off almost like a cleanser because I notice that once it comes in contact with water, it foams but it does washes off easily. When it dries it doesn’t shrink or get tight on the skin like some other masks do.

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

ACURE brightening facial scrub – US $9.99

-argan stem cell + chlorella

Organic sea kelp and lemon peel gently exfoliate the skin while French green clay removes impurities from your pores without taking your natural moisture with it. Organic chlorella growth factor and argan stem cells work to stimulate new cell growth and repair. Madonna lily stem cells help brighten.

I really enjoy using this facial scrub. While some scrubs can be too harsh or too gentle, the texture of this one is the perfect median. It has the right amount of grit and uses finely ground organic sea kelp to exfoliate to remove impurities and helps to brighten your skin. It is very effective at removing flakiness and dead cell build and leaves my face bright and smooth. I love that it isn’t drying. It has a deep green color with an herbal scent and when mixed with water it creates a slight foaming action that allows the scrub to slip across the skin nicely.

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

ACURE the magical wonderfluff – US $19.99

-argan + gardenia stem cell

This is an overnight hydrating booster mask featuring a mix of chlorella, argan and gardenia stem cells, and argan oil that provides moisture and evens out texture to reveal healthier skin. This antioxidant rich blend of organic botanical, essential amino acids and vitamins support the skin against the ravages of time and exposure, all while you sleep.

One of my favorite overnight face mask is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask but I honestly think this might be better. The magical wonderfluff (how cute is the name) is designed as a leave on mask for overnight, but for me this product basically acts as a night cream. The texture is lightweight and feels slightly like a whipped lotion and even I was a bit taken-a-back when I first felt the texture because it wasn’t as thick as I thought it would be or even as thick as my favorite Origins Drink Up mask. It doesn’t feel greasy or sticky whatsoever and I love that it just absorbs so quickly into the skin. I’ve been using this nightly in place of my regular moisturizer and I love adding a few drops of facial oil to it for that extra boost of hydration. It leaves my skin super soft and hydrated and when I wake up in the morning, my face feels comfortable, plump and hydrated. For what this does, the price point is pretty incredible!

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

ACURE ultra-hydrating body lotion – US $9.99

-cocoa butter + CoQ10

Rescue your rough skin with this fragrance-free Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion. Eradicate flaky dryness with a super moisturizing complex of fair trade organic olive oil, cocoa butter, evening primrose and CoQ10.

When I see “ultra hydrating” I expect the texture of this lotion to be thick and heavy/oily; however that wasn’t the case. This is a lovely everyday lotion that has a lightweight texture and feel but also provides a good amount of moisture to the skin keeping it hydrated. It absorbs very quickly and easily into the skin. However I do have to admit that I do wish it was more nourishing. For me, I need skincare and body care with more moisture but not something that is too thick and heavy as I really prefer weightless feeling products but I just didn’t feel like it was ultra-hydrating or have that soft cushiony feel that I like my body lotion to have. Now that the weather is warmer, it is perfect for daily use but I’m not sure how hydrating this will be for very dry winter skin.

ACURE ORGANICS REVIEW

Overall, very nice skincare products. My favorites from above are definitely the facial scrub and the magical wonderfluff. Both of these are so amazing and I love that the wonderfluff provides such nourishment to my skin and make my skin feels more plump and hydrated. I didn’t experience any irritation or break outs from the products and the price point is right!
