It is definitely hard investing in products without giving them a good test run first but today I share some of my must-haves and some of the most luxurious items in my beauty arsenal. Here are some beauty luxuries to invest in without feeling guilty and should be in every girl’s makeup stash.

Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation
If I had to choose between splurging on a high-end foundation or concealer, I would go with foundation as you’ll need less concealer if you use a high-quality, good coverage foundation. Having a great base will make your skin look flawless and will make the rest of your makeup look better. My favorite is the Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation; it has a very smooth silky texture that easily glides on the skin for a natural, slightly satin matte and luminous finish. It makes my skin looks beautiful!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow
This highlight and contour kit is amazing and definitely worth the hype! A very finely milled tan shade that works both for sculpting cheeks and bronzing up skin. I love using this on days where I don’t want a really sculpted look, but still want to contour a bit. The highlight in this palette is beautiful and very flattering.

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick
These lipsticks are probably the most luxurious looking tube I have; the packaging is just gorgeous! The formula is lightweight, creamy and comfortable and leaves a nice shine but isn’t glossy. N*de in Private is a gorgeous, wearable, dusty rose pinky-beige. It glides onto the lips effortlessly and feels very moisturizing. This is my-lips-but-better shade.Beauty-Products-Worth-The-Splurge-makeup-products-worththesplurge-splurgeworthy-makeup003Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors
Highlighters have been one of my favourite makeup discoveries this past year. Champagne Pop is a gorgeous soft white gold with pinky peach undertones with a warm gold finish and is said to be flattering on all skin tones. It is absolutely beautiful when applied on the cheeks. The texture is super smooth and creamy and doesn’t kick up too much excess product. Becca carries a wide range of shades with choices for all skin tones. I also have this in ‘Opal’ which is also suitable for most skintones.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Nude Dip
This palette is beautiful and the quality of the eyeshadows are amazing, very wearable and work well together. The shadows are very smooth and have a unique texture which gives each color dimension. All the shades are soft, buttery, well pigmented, and blends like a dream without much effort. This palette is a neutrals lover’s dream so if you’re a fan of neutral eyeshadows then you will love this quad.

HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Palette
This amazing little palette contains three shades of the brand’s Ambient Lighting Powders (Dim Light, Incandescent Light and Radiant Light). The three colors offer you different options for multiple areas of your face and it’s a 3-in-1 glow powder that’s got all your highlighting needs covered. It is an effortless and well-blended powder that works great with all skin tones. It is also perfect for travel.

Which of these items would you splurge on?
