bobbibrown_pinksquartz-Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz001So, this is my very first Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick product! I have been wanting to try a Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick for a while now, so one day while in Sephora, I was having a swatch-fest of the Shimmer Bricks and Pink Quartz caught my attention. This is not a new product and has been out for a while in the permanent line.bobbibrown_pinksquartz-Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz004The Shimmer Bricks come in glossy, black, square plastic compacts. The compact has a snap-shut lid that flips open to reveal a mirror inside. I just wish the packaging was less bulky.bobbibrown_pinksquartz-Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz003Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – Pink Quartz contains five shimmery shades infused with superfine pigments that reflect radiance and light. Separately the shades are pink, rose, beige-nude, champagne and bronze that create the perfect highlighter. It is described as a soft, warm pink glow with a metallic sheen. Once mix together, the result is a beautiful coppery highlighter with a slight hint of pink. It works great with neutral and pink blush shades and it is so multifunctional that it can be used as a blush, highlighter or as an eyeshadow. It is super pigmented and gives a beautiful glow to the skin without looking shimmery or greasy. The shimmer particles are very small and the powder glides across the skin and blends beautifully. It’s best to use a light hand as it will emphasize pores if over-applied. It wore well for eight hours.

Overall, I really am pleased with my first shimmer brick purchase. I can see this as being my new favorite multi-tasking product because it is so very easy to work with. You can find the Shimmer Bricks at Sephora for CAD $54.00/US $46.00.bobbibrown_pinksquartz-Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz002bobbibrown_pinksquartz-Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink Quartz005As always, thank you for stopping by and please follow my blog and social media handlings.
