January 2016 Beauty Favorites-001I know this is going to sound so cliché but I honestly can’t believe that it’s February already. I wasn’t going to do a January favorites but I’ve found some new products that I love this past month while also rediscovering some old favorites as well.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: This is very pigmented and creamy. It’s a thin, liquid formula that covers and hides imperfections incredibly well.

Hourglass Ambient Strobe Light Powders: It’s been all about highlighters lately and a LOT of highlighters. Hourglass launched their Strobe Light powders and I have been all over them because they are gorgeous. I have been using Euphoric Strobe Light a lot, which is a pearlescent beige powder bestowing a natural highlight. These powders are natural and subtle so you can wear them throughout the day and applied wet if you want a more intense highlight.

Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo in Warm Glow*, Oh how I actually love this highlighting duo. The colors are beautiful on the cheeks but I actually found myself using it a lot as an eyeshadow especially when I’m in a hurry and that happens a lot when you have two little ones. It just brightens up my eyes while still looking natural.

Rodial Glamobrow in Ash Brown*, my brows are uneven and sparse but this pencil shape, define and fill in my brows nicely for a natural look and it is very easy to use.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid lipstick in Lolita is currently my favorite liquid lipstick at the moment. Love the color and the staying power.

Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lipstick in Berry Naughty* which is a cream Berry Wine shade. These lipsticks are lightweight and creamy and just the most beautiful deep berry shade against my complexion. Hubby loves this shade!

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate: This is such a great facial oil! It absorbs nicely and it’s hydrating but feels light on the skin. I will be doing an in-depth review shortly.
