NARUKO SUPREME REJUVENATING ELIXIR OIL

NARUKO SUPREME REJUVENATING ELIXIR OIL

Last week, I shared my thoughts on the Jing Cheng Face Renewal Miracle Essence from Naruko Canada and so today I’ll be talking about their Elixir Oil. If you haven’t seen that post, I mentioned that Naruko is a Taiwanese beauty brand that is popular in the Asian beauty market. I’ve been testing this oil for almost two months and have been really happy with the results. I have sensitive skin around my nose and chin and very sensitive eyes but didn’t experience any irritation or break-outs from the product.

From the Naruko Canada website:

Benefits: Prevents aging and eliminates fine lines. Moisturizes and promotes healthy cell growth. Formulated WITHOUT: Parabens and Sulfates and mineral oil.

Main ingredients: Actuat E60, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Squalane, Argan Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit Oil, Orbignya Martiana Seed Oil, Marula Essential Oil, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, Rosehip, Sunflower Seed Oil, Rouge Wood Extract, Ubiquinone (CoQ10), Vitamin E and Essential Oil Blend.

NARUKO SUPREME REJUVENATING ELIXIR OIL

The Naruko Jing Cheng Supreme Rejuvenating Elixir Oil is a lightweight face oil that I’ve found to be really lovely. It’s a moisturizing oil that absorbs quickly into the skin that doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. It is 80% oils and 20% water-based ingredients and features Abyssinian oil, argan oil, meadowfoam seed oil, and other oils mixed with the signature Jing Cheng list of traditional Chinese medicine herbal extracts. All of these ingredients combined have been formulated to give the skin a smoother and more radiant look. The oil comes packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper with the prettiest red box. The oil is a very lightweight fluid where a little goes a long way and I like the way it absorbs quickly into the skin. The direction says we are to shake well before use to activate bi-phase formula and I use 4-5 drops to cover the entire face/neck. The oil has a light soothing floral smell that did not irritate my sensitive nose.

For almost two months now, I’ve been using this at night and my skin has improved tremendously. It hydrates the skin without feeling heavy or greasy, it brightens and evens out skintone and deeply nourishes the skin. It leaves the skin soft, glowing and healthy looking. The Naruko Jing Cheng Supreme Rejuvenating Elixir Oil can be used for both day and night, but I use it mainly at night when the skin is least exposed to environmental toxins and stresses so the skin can absorb it better. If you’re a fan of beauty oils and use them regularly you can definitely use this during the daytime.

I’m such a huge fan of facial oils and this is a clear winner for me. Apart from my Rosalena Frank & Sense Face Oil that I recently discovered and felt in love with (review coming soon), this is one of the most nourishing oils I’ve used personally. It literally feels like silk on your face and it is not greasy in any way at all. A little goes a long way and it absorbs into the skin quickly so the bottle will last a long time. The Naruko Jing Cheng Supreme Rejuvenating Elixir Oil retails at CAD $115.00 for 1.05 fl oz. I hate spending a boat load on anything really but this is something I will certainly repurchase in the future.

Are you a fan of facial oils? What is your favorite?
