Sophie’s
Family-friendly and everyone-else-friendly, Sophie’s is the intuitive compliment to Leaside’s easy, laid-back atmosphere. Tailored to the family-oriented community, the menu honours all generations. It features the crucial classics (like the Benedict), hipster staples (like the Avocado toast), and kid-curated essentials (like pb&j pancakes). From top to bottom, the food is crafted around the intention of what can be house made, freshly squeezed, and locally sourced. Sophie’s opened in August 2018 and has had lines out the door ever since. Casual and fun, the place immediately looked like it had been on the Bayview strip all along – because it should have been.
