There are certain fragrances that instantly make you slow down, and L’Occitane’s newest Almond Hair & Body Mists do exactly that.
The brand recently introduced two limited-edition additions to its beloved Almond collection—Almond Crème Brûlée Hair & Body Mist and Almond Pistachio Hair & Body Mist—and after wearing both, I can honestly say they’ve become some of my favourite fragrance mists this season.
Unlike a traditional perfume, these are designed to lightly scent both your hair and skin, making them perfect for everyday wear or for layering with the rest of L’Occitane’s Almond body care collection.
Two Gourmand Scents That Feel Soft, Not Overwhelming
Although both fragrances belong to the gourmand family, they each have their own personality.
Almond Crème Brûlée
This one opens with roasted almond before settling into creamy vanilla milk, praline and soft white musk. It’s warm, comforting and slightly sweet without ever becoming heavy.
If you enjoy cozy vanilla fragrances but don’t want something that feels sugary, this is the one I’d recommend.
Almond Pistachio
Pistachio fragrances continue to be one of beauty’s biggest fragrance trends, and L’Occitane’s take feels elegant rather than overly sweet.
The creamy pistachio blends beautifully with almond, vanilla, sandalwood and cedarwood, creating a soft, nutty scent that lingers gently throughout the day.
Between the two, I find myself reaching for this one a little more, but honestly, they’re both beautiful.
My Review
I’ve been wearing both mists regularly, and they’ve quickly earned a permanent place in my routine.
What I appreciate most is how effortless they are. They add just enough fragrance without feeling overpowering, making them easy to wear after a shower, before heading out, or whenever I want a little refresh during the day.
The scent lasts surprisingly well for a hair and body mist, especially when sprayed on both hair and skin, and neither one feels sticky or heavy.
If I had to choose a favourite, I’d probably give a slight edge to Almond Pistachio because I love warm, nutty fragrances. That said, Almond Crème Brûlée is just as lovely if you’re drawn to creamy vanilla scents with a comforting finish.
At $57 CAD (approximately $42 USD) each, they feel like a nice little everyday luxury that I’ll continue reaching for long after summer ends.

If you’re looking for a soft gourmand fragrance that feels effortless and easy to wear, both of these are worth adding to your wishlist.

Final Thoughts
L’Occitane has always done almond beautifully, and these two new mists are no exception.
They’re warm, comforting, beautifully balanced and ideal if you prefer fragrances that stay close to the skin rather than filling a room.
If you’re deciding between the two, I’d lean slightly toward Almond Pistachio, but you really can’t go wrong with either.
