If you’re already a fan of Benefit’s Porefessional collection, there’s a new launch to add to your makeup lineup. Benefit Porefessional Concealer is the latest addition to the brand’s pore-blurring franchise, bringing the Porefessional approach to concealer.
The new concealer launched on August 5 and is designed to provide full coverage while helping the complexion look smoother, more hydrated and visibly blurred.
Meet the Benefit Porefessional Concealer
The new Benefit Porefessional Concealer comes in 35 color-true shades, making it one of the more extensive shade offerings within the Porefessional range.
The launch makes sense alongside Benefit’s existing Porefessional products, including its well-known primer. Rather than focusing solely on covering imperfections, the concealer is designed to combine coverage with a smoothing and blurring effect.
According to Benefit, the formula provides up to 24 hours of full coverage while remaining lightweight and comfortable.
What’s Inside the Formula?
Benefit describes the formula as 76% skincare-based, with ingredients including hyaluronic acid, microspheres and Enantia chlorantha bark extract.
The microspheres are designed to help create the blurring effect, while hyaluronic acid helps provide hydration. Enantia chlorantha bark extract is included to help reduce the appearance of excess surface oil.
The formula is also described as waterproof, sweat-proof, crease-proof and smudge-proof.
One detail that caught my attention is the applicator. Benefit created an ergonomic applicator specifically for the concealer and says the design is being considered for a patent.
The Bottom Line
I haven’t tried the Benefit Porefessional Concealer yet, so this isn’t a review, I’m simply sharing the details of the new launch.
But with 35 shades, full coverage and a formula designed around blurring, hydration and a smoother-looking complexion, it definitely looks like an interesting addition to the Porefessional family.
I’ll be curious to see how this one performs once I get the chance to put it to the test.
