Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask

good-things-manuka-honey-radiance-mask-review-skincare-beautytips-facemask-1A few months ago I was browsing the skincare isle of Winners and I came across a few facial masks and scrubs that I had never seen or heard of before. They peek my interest and I was also on a hunt for something new so I picked up a couple and this face mask was one of them. I usually don’t purchase any skincare products on a whim without first doing some thorough research and reading some reviews but I thought what the heck, I love trying new products as much as the next beauty blogger; plus the price was very reasonable, at CAD $5.99.

If you don’t know, Good Things is a British skincare company, and a few of their products seem to be readily available at Winners stores around the GTA, so if you’re in Canada or the Toronto area, you should have no trouble finding this product.

I apply it like I do with any other mask, on freshly cleansed skin, avoiding the eye and lip area. It has a slight tingling feeling that goes away after a couple minutes. I leave it on for 10 minutes then I wash off any residues with a cloth and warm water! My skin felt fresh and clean, and also soft and hydrated. This mask did brighten and add some radiance to my complexion, but not as much as I was expecting; but perhaps with more frequent usage I will notice a bigger difference.

The main ingredients apart from Manuka Honey, are White Clay to remove impurities, Papaya extract which gently exfoliate the skin to brighten and refresh, and Beeswax to give the skin a little boost and hydration.

I am not a fan of the smell at all but despite the smell, it is a good basic clay mask that is good for all skin types including sensitive skin. It is also free from Parabens, Mineral oils and Sodium Laureth Sulphate. If you’re on a budget or if you’re new to masks, this is a good all-around face mask to try.
