Last Holiday Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powders were released and became very popular. A couple months ago, these were on the Sephora website again but I am not certain if this is a repromote for the upcoming holiday. I purchased this last year when it was initially released and didn’t bother to do a review on it since it was sold out very quickly. Since they’re still in stock on the Sephora website, I decided to do a quick review on it since I’ve been using this for a year now. There are two highlighters in this Bobbi Brown collection, Pink Glow and Bronze Glow. Because of my warm undertone, I decided to go with Bronze Glow. It is a light-reflecting powder that gives the complexion a high-impact, light-reflective glow that has a metallic shine and a warm base color. I believe the packaging is a bit different from last year’s packaging which was a beautiful wood-patterned compact with gold and white accenting.Bobbi Brown Bronze Glow Highlighting Powder is a coppery bronze with warm undertones and a golden sheen. The highlighter is super pigmented and intense so it only needs the lightest touch. The texture is very smooth and soft, almost creamy, like a MAC Mineralize Skin Finish powder, with a lightweight feeling and it is absolutely stunning. If you love shimmer they knock this out of the park on high sheen. The beautiful powder compact serves as a perfect highlighter for darker tones and can even be used as a bronzer for paler complexions. It has amazing colour pay-off and can be layered and blended effortlessly on the skin. This wore beautiful for about 8 hours before you start to notice some fading.
Pink Glow and Bronze Glow were both part of Bobbi Brown limited edition holiday 2014 collection, and can now/still be found at Sephora for CAD $54.00/US $46.00.
