Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Perfector

Urban Decay One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector is a new hybrid complexion cream from UD’s Summer 2016 Collection. It was one of the few things that caught my attention being the foundation junkie that I am. It is a lightweight foundation that is similar to a BB cream’s coverage that is oil-free. Available in six shades – Light, Medium Light, Medium, Medium Dark, Dark, and Deep; it “instantly and completely blurs imperfections, evens out skintone for a result that looks natural”. I purchased mine in Medium Dark and it matches and blends very well on my medium/olive skintone. The packaging is a gunmetal type tube that comes with a pump.

This has a creamy lightweight texture that feels smooth and goes on like a moisturizer. I use my fingers (sometimes a buffing brush), both worked beautifully to apply it and it blends and melts into the skin very easily and gives you the “Skin” look that is not caky, tight or heavy. It does a fabulous job in evening-out skin tone, blurring imperfections without hiding them completely and fills in pores (it really does), and gives a nice healthy looking finish. It doesn’t oxidize over time and by the end of the day, my skin would still look as good as it was in the morning. Plus it has SPF 20 protection. It has an oil-free formula, contains vitamins, peptides and moisturizers and light-diffusing spheres.

Overall, I would say it’s a sheer coverage foundation, meant to give you the “my skin but better” effect, so if you are looking for coverage, this is not the product for you. However, if you’re a person who doesn’t like a full coverage face, but you’d like a light smooth natural finish, then you are going to like this product! It felt very moisturizing and hydrating on my skin but I did noticed that the first time I used it, it did cling to a few dry patches around my nose but that can be easily fixed by exfoliating before and using a good moisturizer. I would say this is ideal for warm weather wear as it will brighten up your complexion giving you a fresh, flawless appearance. This is surprisingly awesome!

You can find this at Sephora online, and retails for US $34.00 / CAD $38.00.
