My JORD Ely Wood Watch
Today I want to share with you my newest accessory that I received courtesy of a brand named JORD Wood Watches. I also get the opportunity to host a Giveaway for a voucher toward your own JORD watch. So, who have heard of JORD Watches before? Well, they are made of wood! How cool and unique is that? I was so excited when the company contacted me and asked me to select one of their unique Wood Watches and I immediately fell in love with the Ely series – Dark Sandalwood.
JORD watches are made from 100% natural wood, and come in many different styles. I must admit I’ve never seen or heard of a wooden watch before…Sad, but true! The company is based in St. Louis, Missouri, and JORD wood watches source sustainable materials from all over the world and uses them to hand-crafted wood timepieces that tell a story. I think their timepieces are so different and unique! I’m a big fan of watches and I think they’re a staple in any wardrobe.
Ely series – Dark Sandalwood* ($129.00) is a deep dark chocolate brown coloured wooden watch that has a smooth metal snap closure with push buttons that is crafted with beautiful silver accents and compliments the colour of the wood very well. The natural wood grain finish is gorgeous! The Ely series come in three other wood finishes. This watch is amazing and I just love the minimal design! I love how it looks on my wrist and because it is so versatile, I am able to wear it with several outfits. It has easily become one of my favorite fashion accessories. It has a simple and sleek design and the watch features a 37mm case width made with a scratch-resistant mineral glass. The watch is very lightweight compared to other watches I’ve owned in the past, and this is because of the wood material. The watch is incredibly comfortable to wear. The face of the watch isn’t over sized and is a great fit for my wrist. The quality of the watch is simply amazing and beautifully deigned. The watch comes in a nice sleek wooden crate that includes a lint-free wipe cloth. The box is engraved with the JORD logo. Inside the case housed a small manual that covers all of the intricate details about the watch and how to care for it.
The watch itself is extremely high quality and made with amazing craftsmanship. This is an excellent statement time-piece! I highly recommend you trying out a JORD Wood Watches. If you’re a collector, then this is a great unique piece to have in your collection. At least check out their pieces and see what they’re all about. I think that their unique timepieces would make amazing gifts anytime of the year for him or her.
