The book also covers the table setting of different styles, including set-ups for Asian-inspired meals, how to prepare yourselves as the host/hostess, and timeless etiquette tips.

With a mission to make a difference on how people think of Asian cuisines and entertaining, author Dawna Pitts has always had a passion for global travel, foodways, and hosting parties. “I am the happiest when I see my loved ones enjoying themselves in my home. There’s nothing like it — my heart smiles,” Pitts says. “When you are in your own space, it is not only a more intimate setting, but the conversations can linger a little longer and so many more memories can be created.”

Entertaining is My Love Language showcases Pitts’ global experience of having lived in three countries–she was born in Seoul, South Korea; studied in Australia; and now lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and teenage son. Pitts shares recipes from all around the world, including her Korean heritage with easy-to-cook recipes using easy-to-find ingredients.

“I am always looking for reasons to celebrate,” she says. “From my years of entertaining, I have learned a lot and am here to humbly share that with you. And please don’t worry–I won’t make you cook and clean for days! You will be surprised how much of this book is all about how to make home entertaining effortless!”
