CHIDORI

The brand CHIDORI stands out for their skillful concept of transitional wear. By this, they literally mean ‘transforming clothes.’ Each outfit has a trick that changes it in front of your eyes, making their garments extremely customizable. Items alter both shapes and colours while revealing on the runway how the gimmicks work.

Behind their exceptional idea is a message that humans are born an empty white and will change their appearance based on their lived experiences. This change could be both simple or complicated and everyone undergoes it. For the Japanese designer, Fujiwara Fuminari, this catwalk presents a little opportunity for everyone to change.
