Anastasia Beverly Hills has collaborated once again with Instagram beauty Amrezy to launch a new highlighter. I couldn’t resist picking this up when I was in Ulta a week ago in the US.
This is a limited edition highlighter. The packaging is sleek and beautiful and I just love the rose gold on the bottom as well as the twinkly stars. The powder formula can be applied wet or dry.
This is a light champagne gold highlighter with a metallic sheen and is supposed to flatter all skin-tone/undertone. I love the wavy print on it. It has a gelee texture that isn’t powdery at all. Pigment is smooth, nicely pigmented and buildable. It felt smooth to the touch and applies to the skin very smooth with no fallout. There is no chunkiness or glitter. This is a highlighter that you can build up if you want an intense glow but you can definitely get a natural look as well. The particles are fine so you’ll get a wetter look giving the cheeks a strong shine.
It looks smooth and pretty on the skin and doesn’t emphasize lines or pores and lasting power is really good. Overall: quality, finish, pigment, texture and price are all a thumbs up.
