The packaging of the collection is very spring like, chic and feminine. The eye palette has the cutest holographic winking eye. It literally winks at you. Love it!
Ready in a Flash Palette – Limited Edition – $42.00
This versatile and multi-use palette is compose of 2 eyebrow gels, and 4 eyeshadows (2 shimmering & 2 mattes) adapted to any look you want. The textures of the shadows are really pigmented and easy to blend, and the shades are very pretty. The mattes are soft with a radiant sheen finish whilst still being matte. The shimmers are creamy and beautiful. The brow powders can also be used as eyeshadows if you wanted to. Especially to add a bit of liner/smoke to the eyes.
All the colors are finely milled and blend like a dream. I adore the beautiful gold shade, I think it works beautiful for an everyday eye look. The packaging is really slim so it’s ideal for travel and to also pop into your makeup bag for touch-ups.
Instant Poreless Primer – $32.00
The new Instant Poreless Primer is a gel-cream primer that blurs out the appearance of pores and imperfections, creating a smooth canvas for makeup application. This gel-cream formula transforms into powder, minimizing pores. It contains organic strawberry tree fruit extract which helps to absorb excess sebum. This universal shade is the perfect match for every complexion.
The texture is lightweight and goes on dewy and then slowly mattifies. I have the shade 02 Golden Peach. The textures are absolutely gorgeous – very silky on the skin with amazing pigment so that you don’t need to use too much. This shade is perfect to warm up the complexion in summer with a golden highlighter and a radiant peachy blush. The formula is really creamy, so you do not need much at all. I’m a lover of peaches and coral blushes, so the blush shade was perfect – it matches my skintone nicely. This can be worn for a natural barely there look, yet at the same time they can definitely be layered for more color.
Overall, the collection is fresh and pretty for spring! Colors are very wearable though I’m not sure I would call any of these must-haves. The Glow 2 Go sticks will be amazing for summer as they’re so easy and quick to use.
