The Super Sizer
A new drugstore mascara is on the block, and it’s the new CoverGirl The Super Sizer By Lashblast Mascara. I picked mine up at Walmart. You all know how much I love mascaras so of course I was super excited to try this one from Covergirl. I have been testing it out the last couple weeks and ready to share my thoughts on it.
Covergirl says “The Super Sizer Mascara by LashBlast Mascara gives you 400% more corner-to-corner volume for full, fanned out lashes. Our amazing Lash Styler transforms even small lashes— just twirl as you apply it to your lashes for an instantly Super Sized lash look.”
First off let me say how much I love the teal packaging! The brush is very unique and interesting on this mascara. It is a flexible rubberized wand that has a flat side that slightly curve; it is flat, skinny and tiny. It is taped towards the bottom and twisted. The brittles are a little longer towards the tip and shorter towards the base. It’s a very small wand so you can get to the base of your lashes and in the inner corner. The formula is a little bit wet but not heavy so if you’re someone who doesn’t like wet formulas, then you may not like this so much. I personally don’t mine that and actually prefers it. With this mascara, you are supposed to twirl to comb through. I did not use a lash curler and I found that this mascara gave good length and builds a bit of volume but didn’t do much for separation or curl. I have very and I say very sparse lashes that are stick straight. Although this isn’t waterproof, the formula is long lasting and I did not experience any transfer, flaking, fallout or smudging throughout the day. It doesn’t hurt or irritate my lash line or my eyes and I do have very sensitive eyes. Also this is a very dark black mascara, which I like a lot.
Overall, I actually do like this mascara but keep in mind that we all have different lashes and everyone is looking for something different in their mascara but for me, it works okay. Overall rating: 4/5
