The latest foundation from Dior is their Diorskin Nude Air Sérum De Teint. It is talc-free and added bonus is that it has SPF 25 PA++ to protect your skin against UVA and UVB radiations. According to Sephora’s website:
“It is Infused with Oxygen Activ™ technology, an innovative blend of a hyper-oxygenated oil, cranberry oil, vitamin, and minerals, this serum’s high-precision dropper deposits an undetectable film of makeup onto the skin, while its soft-focus agents and glazed pigments instantly produce an even-looking complexion that achieves the right amount of coverage for a radiant, sheer finish.”
I will be reviewing the shade 030 Medium Beige which is perfect for my NC40 yellow skin tone. It is a super lightweight medium coverage, natural matte finish foundation that feels very light and airy feeling on the skin. The formula is watery and runny so I recommend you shake the contents of the bottle well to ensure that all components are properly mixed together.
I like to use anywhere from 4-6 drops, depending on the coverage I am going for (light or medium); do not expect full coverage with this foundation. I found that the best way to apply serum foundation is directly with the finger tips and massaging it all over the face. It leaves my skin looking smooth and silky with a soft-focus effect. When it is blended into the skin, it blurs imperfections giving a skin finish look and leaving your skin looking airbrush without breaking-down or looking blotchy or patchy throughout the day. Your makeup is lightweight and skin is beautiful and natural looking with an amazing subtle glow.
Because I have combination/dry skin, I didn’t find that it clings or emphasis any dry patches. I can get away with not setting it with a powder; however, if you have oily skin, then you may want to lightly dust with a powder to set. The formula is very long-wearing and with or without a primer, it lasted 9+ hours on me.
Something else to keep in mind is that the shade selection is very limited with only 8 available shades to choose from. The glass bottle is pretty and very luxurious looking. The applicator is a dropper giving you a lot more control over the amount you want to apply.
I really like this foundation but I actually prefer the Dior Star foundation (review Here) a lot more and you get a wider shade selection. Overall rating: 4.3/5
You can find the Diorskin Nude Air Sérum De Teint foundation at Sephora for US/CAD $53.00.

I see you prefer the Dior Star foundation a bit more, thats a foundation ive been wanting to try out. Going to check that review now to see what your thoughts are 🙂
I am happy I gave it a try too. Really being loving it. Yes, I have to agree with you, it is light and that’s one reason I enjoy it so much! Yes, on my skin type (a bit dry sometimes), I actually like the Dior Star a bit more…not as drying. Hope you find the review helpful! 🙂
