I am a huge fan of facial oils but I have a bigger love for serums. A serum contains concentrated active ingredients and serums have greater anti-aging benefits the longer you use them. I’ve been using this serum for a month and a half now and the results have been very good. It leaves my skin feeling smoother, refreshed, and soft. Skin tone has evened out, and pores a bit smaller. It also brightens and smooths the skin and did not cause any breakouts (Yay). It’s light, non-greasy and quickly absorbed into the skin. It does feel a bit sticky on face immediately after applying but that stickiness subsides after a few minutes. Although this is a good serum, I personally didn’t find it as hydrating as I like my serums to be but then again, it is extremely cold where I live and the air is very dry so my skin tends to act weird during the colder months and more prone to feeling tight with dry patches. I do think, however, that it has help to improve the appearances of my skin and I quite like it.
It comes in a light-weight glass jar with a glass dropper and the serum is a transparent fluid with a slightly orange colour. To use Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair, take several drops of the concentrate and apply on clean skin (face and throat) before your moisturizer.
