Facial Mists

I love facial mists. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on the dry side but nothing compares to that feeling of a cool, refreshing mist on your face to refresh, balance, and hydrate the skin. Also, depending on the formula, it can instantly calm irritated skin and brighten a dull, dry complexion. Here are a few of my favorites:

MAC Fix+ is a classic and yes, I categorize this as a mist or a facial spray because I use it many of times when my face feels dry and dehydrated and it always soothes and hydrates. I love that this has multiple cosmetic purposes, so it’s a must-have for every collection. Infused with vitamins, minerals, green tea, chamomile, and cucumber, a few spritzes of this fragrant mist, and skin will look and feel energized. I also use it as a primer to lock in moisture and to add a boost of hydration to my skin, or spray over makeup to ensure the longest wear.
Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist & Setting Spray* is packed with skin-loving goodies like cichoric acid, vitamin C, potassium, and magnesium. The product works to tone, hydrate, and refresh. This feels hydrating and refreshing and gives a natural glow and is a refreshing pick me up. It is also great for preventing makeup from looking cakey and also refreshes and cool the skin throughout the day. If you are dry, this will be amazing for your dry skin as it will hydrate your skin and give you a beautiful dewy makeup look. My only grip with this is that it is way too expensive.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir contains grapeseed extract, rosemary oil, orange blossom water, and rose extract. I love keeping this little mini bottle in my purse. This spray treatment refreshes while giving the complexion an instant boost of radiance. It calms, refreshes and moisturizes; and the scent of mint and rosemary extracts will wake you right up.

Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist (Korean brand) is a gentle facial mist that delivers instant moisture and revitalization to help relieve exhausted skin. It has Green tea extract as its key component which is known to gently soothe irritations while also delivering vitamins and minerals beneficial to the skin. I like to use this all over my face to lock in my moisture from skincare. It is refreshing and keeps moisture locked underneath it. However it doesn’t deeply moisturize but it’s a great mist. The scent is really nice and refreshing as well!

Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist, I had this little deluxe sample size sitting in my “To Try” pile and started using it a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by it. It’s a dewy, refreshing gel mist that helps correct shine, while preventing makeup from wearing off or creasing. It is refreshing and isn’t drying, which is always a plus in my book. The mist is quick absorbing and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky. It’s a pretty decent product, so I’m gonna use up this sample and see if it’s worth purchasing the full size once it’s all gone. It has a light floral fragrance and it’s a great little mist for a quick fix, living up to its name. This is also a great travel friendly product to have on hand.

What is your favourite facial mist?
