Nothing perks up your face like blush. I love how a blush can quickly freshen up your look and make you seem instantly more awake, healthy, and glowing. When the weather warms up I start pulling out peaches and corals. These are the colors I tend to reach for more in the warmer months. Here are my current “go to” favorites for this summer and they are all from the drugstore.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso – This has been a long-time favorite of mine. It adds such a beautiful luminous glow to the skin; a beautiful peachy coral tone with subtle golden shimmer that would flatter just about anyone.
Maybelline Face Studio Master Hi-Light Blush in Coral and Nude – These satin shimmering blushes are a mixture of an illuminator, a bronzer and a blush — all in one pan and blend together for a beautiful pretty glow.
Essence Silky Touch Blush in Autumn Peach – This is a lovely shimmering peach blush that is made with superfine powder that is smooth and blends very well into the skin.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Blush in Santa Rose – This blush looks a bit boring in the pan; however, it transforms into a beautiful dusty rose color on the cheeks. It is the perfect combination of peach and rosy tones that has a slight golden shimmer and gives the perfect amount of color for a natural subtle glow.
e.l.f. Studio Baked Blush in Pinktastic – This beautiful champagne color with a tinge of pink is more of a highlighter on my NC40 skin tone; but may work best as a blush on paler skin tone. It is lovely and has a soft and smooth texture that is incredibly blendable. It gives a really nice glow without being glittery.
