Fenty launched their new Sun Stalk’r bronzer recently and it has become one of the best bronzers I’ve ever tried. Granted I haven’t tried a lot of bronzers because I’m not much of a bronzer person but these are hands down AMAZING!!!! The texture of the Sun Stalk’r bronzers are finely milled without a lot of fall out and they blend beautifully with the skin.
I picked up the shade I$land Ting and I’ve really enjoyed playing around with it for a bit now. It is a medium brown with neutral (looks more warm to me) undertones and a matte finish. The bronzer was pigmented but not overly opaque, making it a buildable bronzer in my opinion. It was easy to smooth out and build and it applied evenly to my skin. The shade looks incredibly natural on the skin and lasted all day on me.
There are 8 colors –
- Inda Sun – fair with neutral undertones
- Shady Biz – light with warm undertones
- Private Island – light to medium with warm undertones
- I$land Ting – medium with neutral undertones
- Bajan Gyal – tan with warm undertones
- Caramel Cutie – tan to deep with neutral undertones
- Coco Naughty – deep with neutral undertones
- Mocha Mami – very deep with warm red undertones
I love how impressive the shade range are, as not only is the shade range vast but I’m happy to report that the product is actually amazing too! With this line I think you will finally be able to use one that won’t turn orange on your complexion. I like that there are shades at the deeper end of the spectrum that have amazing pigment so you should be able to layer for a beautiful glow.
After looking at swatches online and even reading the description of the bronzer, I initially picked up Bajan Gyal; however, once it arrived and I looked at it, I knew it was a much too dark shade for my olive skin-tone. So I could recommend going into the store to find the perfect shade match that can be worn lightly and built-up as there are both neutral and warm options to choose from.
I adore the packaging and how fun are the shade names?!!. Prior to testing this bronzer out, my top picks for bronzers included Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzers and Becca Sunlit Bronzer. The Fenty Sun Stalk’r bronzer has now join my list for top picks. It does give a beautiful sun-kissed look and with the color options, you get a decent range to pick from depending on how natural or deep you want your bronzer to be.
You can find the Fenty Sun Stalk’r Bronzers online at Sephora which is where I purchased mine.
Have you guys tried this yet? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
