Fenty Beauty is launching a new hydrating foundation, the Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation. The radiant foundation you’ve been asking for is finally coming and Rihanna calls it, golden hour in a bottle. Fenty Beauty Instagram indicates this is a high-tech formula engineered to give natural radiance, hydration and medium, buildable coverage.
A longwear, medium coverage foundation that gives golden hour glow all day long and stays fresh. It is supposed to hydrates, brightens and improves skin tone both instantly and over time, while resisting sweat, humidity and transfer. The formula is said to be lightweight, buildable and waterproof that will instantly reduce the appearance of shine and gives a whole new kind of radiance, according to the brand’s website. It is also formulated with “color-true” pigments that are designed to resist oxidation. The brand says it is packed with skin-loving ingredients and top ingredients are Kakadu Plum Extract and Cyperus Papyrus Leaf Cell Extract. The product is made to feel like a second skin sitting weightlessly on the face for all-day longwear coverage.
As per the brand, be sure to moisturize skin before applying foundation and always shake before use for smooth application. It says for medium coverage, you should apply one pump of Soft’Lit Foundation to the back of your hand, dip a damp sponge into the product and begin applying at the center of your face, or wherever coverage is desired, pressing foundation into skin and blending outward. But if you like a fuller coverage, then apply one to two pumps of Soft’Lit Foundation directly on a brush and blend; and add more to build your desired coverage. The brand recommend using their Precision Makeup Sponge 100 and Foundation Brush 145.
The Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation will be available in 50 shades on the brand’s website and Sephora starting today, April 26.
