Fresh Love

Fresh-Skincare-Review-Fresh-beauty-002While I sit down to write this blog post, I realized that I’ve been a long-time fan of Fresh. Mixing ancient beauty rituals with modern technology, Fresh offers one-of-a-kind products that perform and pamper. Until now I didn’t realized how many of their products I have used (even just a few months ago) and love, such as their Rose Face Mask, the Soy Face Cleanser and the Lotus Youth Preserve face cream. I have also used their Seaberry Moisturizing Face Oil that I just love for its moisturizing properties and the fact that it has restorative omegas and seabuckthorn oil to preserve a youthful appearance. It is currently on my wish list again, but because I’m presently rotating between a couple other face oils, I will hold off repurchasing for now. And though pricey, their Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 is one of the best I’ve tried.

I’m currently using their Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate (forgot to photograph this) and really loving how it is so hydrating under the eyes. It is also one of the better eye creams I’ve tried because it is effective at fine lines and dark circles while being incredibly gentle, non-irritating and fast absorbing without being greasy.

Now on to my review of the two products photograph above.Fresh-Skincare-Review-Fresh-beauty-001The Seaberry Skin Nutrition Booster is an antioxidant-rich booster of concentrated oils and extracts specifically designed to be mixed with face and eye creams for amplified protection and nourishment. Rocou extract is packed with potent natural antioxidants, while tomato extract contains lycopene, known to be a highly effective free-radical scavenger. The formula is further enriched with seaberry oil, a powerful antioxidant rich in nourishing omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9, and camellia seed oil, which helps to nourish and retain moisture. It’s a very light weight texture and easy to use. I have combination/dry skin that tends to suffer from redness and peeling in the colder months so I am enjoying the extra nourishment this provides without that heavy feeling. You can use 1-2 drops mixed in with your moisturizer, serum, or eye cream, giving it an intense boost of antioxidants and hydration, or you can massage a few drops into the skin after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer. Drop this antioxidant-rich oil in your face or eye cream to step up your skincare game. I love that you can incorporate it into your regime without having to switch anything out. I definitely notice the consistency is different on my face and my skin has felt plumper and more hydrated since adding it. It absorbs quickly and feels good on the skin. The most noticeable changes so far are a brighter complexion, more even skin tone and more smooth skin. Will continue to use it to see what it does in the long-term. It smells like all of the Seaberry products.Fresh-Skincare-Review-Fresh-beauty-003Finally, the Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy helps to nourish and improve the definition on and around the lips while visibly smoothing fine lines for fuller, younger-looking lips. I’ve being using this since mid-summer. Composed of sugar derivative, spilanthes acmella flower, skin-firming amino acids, and adenosine, Sugar A3 Complex is the ultimate age-delay protection to help regenerate youthful lips. It helps to target the loss of skin firmness and the appearance of deep wrinkles while protecting collagen and elastin. Just like the delicate eye area, the lips are very different from the rest of your face and it’s important to treat them differently. Fresh’s Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy is simple packaged in a little pump bottle to disperse the product. It’s very easy to get too much product so be careful. I take about half a pump of this lip serum, and apply it all over my lips at night and after a couple minutes of it absorbing, then I apply a lip balm to hydrate my lips. This is not a balm as you can see from the labeling on the packaging. Now keep in mind that this is a serum not a lip balm and it is designed like all serums to be used under another layer. To see the benefits of this, you have to be diligent in applying this at night and wear it under a lip balm. The formula is light and thin and feels smooth. Like I mentioned in a previous post, I don’t have any issues with lip fullness as my lips are naturally full, but I can say that this this serum is hydrating, smooths and softens my lips.

You can find these now at Sephora.

What have you tried from Fresh?
