FUEL Hair Care

FUEL Hair Care- fuel-curl-defining-lotion- fuel-nourishing-oil-002

Over the years, I’ve established an effortless haircare routine which doesn’t require too much time or too many products. I’m sure I’ve said it before, but when it comes to my hair, I’m lazy and I like easy. I have naturally curly hair that gets dry and frizzy, so I want products that will provide nourishment and shine to my hair.

FUEL were kind enough to send me a couple of their hair products to try out. Created for stylists (at a salon), FUEL was founded in 2014. Fuel Hair will make your hair look like you just left a salon. It’s designed for stylists that understand the day-to-day challenges True Stylists face behind the chair and share the vision to recognize and support them – which translates to amazing quality products. The two products sent are from the Wetline. The Fuel Wetline is designed to achieve versatile results through cocktailing an essential range of performance products. Easy to use and stylist-friendly packaging enhance the daily routine of the professional hairdresser while Fuel’s signature scent is woven throughout the line to ensure each product works together to deliver Styling Made Simple.

I love the minimalistic packaging. Packaging of Fuel products are very simple, modern and chic. I also absolutely love the smell of each product; they have a beautiful natural scent that is not overpowering and makes my curls smell delicious.

Fuel Curl Defining Lotion* (US $36.00): This lotion enhances my natural curl pattern by adding moisture and shine while improving elasticity. The humectant rich lotion has Coconut Oil to control frizz, prevents dryness and increase shine, Quinoa Seed to provide strength and volume and Omega Oils (3&6) to prevent UV protection and prevent dryness. This product was great as a stand-alone product, which is important because I hate having to use more than 2 products in my hair to get the results I want. You don’t need a lot of this product. It defined my hair very well, while maintaining a soft hold.

Fuel Nourishing Oil* (US $44.00): Conditions with a blend of seven natural extracts, such as Baobab oil for absorption and strength; Camellia oil for glossy moisture; Evening Primrose oil to smooth the scalp and Jojoba oil for protection against thermal damage. The nourishing oil is a smooth glossy formula and I love the texture and how easy it was to apply to my hair. You don’t need a lot to achieve frizz free hair, which is nice. It isn’t sticky and absorbs quickly into my hair without a greasy feeling. It feels so lightweight in the hair and has helped with my frizz and dry ends by sealing hair cuticles for a smooth, frizz-free finish. This is a truly beneficial nourishing oil that conditions and absorbs quickly. It also provides some TLC for your chapped, stressed hands with every application. This oil left my hair feeling very soft and healthy.

These are such great products I don’t want to run out of them because they’re that good. They make my hair so soft and luscious!!! They are HG status and even though they work amazing alone, together they work wonders on my thirty curls!!!

My curls held up so well and still looks so soft/shiny after a whole day of running errands with no touch ups!

Overall, I am so impressed with the two products I have tried. I love everything about the products from the packaging down to how well they perform on my hair. Honestly these are some of the best styling products that has ever touched my curls and that’s saying a lot as I am very picky when it comes to styling my hair and not just any curling cream/lotion or hair oil for that matter get the thumbs up from me. I love that these products left my hair feeling nourished, soft, and protected from the elements. I highly recommend both of these products and I would definitely repurchased these.

Fuel does not test on animals and they are a 100% Vegan hair care line that are free from Parabens, so I was very pleased about that. You can check out the entire range or their other products on the Fuel haircare website here.

Have you tried any products from FUEL haircare? What’s your must-have haircare product/s?
