I can’t believe another month has flown by already. This month, like every, I sat down to talk through my favorite products from the month. I have tried a bunch of new things, and here are my picks for June…
Maybelline Blushed Nudes – Oh my, I am pleasantly surprise with this palette. For a drugstore eyeshadow palette, it has exceeded my expectations. Maybelline The Blushed Nudes palette has neutral rosy tones, very similar to the Naked 3 palette and I reached for it a lot in the month of June. You can check out my review/swatches of this palette here.
Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer – This is some awesome stuff right here! Incredibly easy to apply, adds a natural glow that looks great with all skin tone. This golden champagne color with warm undertones gives me a high sheen with light soft shimmer. When added to moisturizer or foundation it leaves my skin looking very dewy, which I just love. It’s the perfect glow! I did a full review that you can check out here.
Clinique Cheek Pop in Pansy Pop – I’m a BIG fan of the Clinique Cheek Pops! Pansy Pop is one of my favorites from the bunch, it’s a vivid lavender color that is just perfect for spring and it’s a really unique shade! I love the way it looks on my complexion. Swatches of Pansy Pop and Pink Pop here and here.
Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask – I have being enjoying this mask this month. This peel contains papaya enzymes and Viniferine, a Caudalie patented active ingredient which is 62 times more effective than vitamin C. This is perfect for anyone with dull complexion looking for a boost of radiance. Whenever I want to treat my skin with a little extra love with a deep exfoliation, I like using this facemask. After this mask the skin feels great and super smooth. I did a full review that you can check out here.
Essie Nail Polish in Fiji – it is a soft pink opaque color and the perfect spring and summer nail! I don’t wear a lot of nail polishes but when I do, I usually reach for this one. I am just drawn to this color. You could get coverage with two well-placed coats, but I find that three thin coats works best to achieve even, full coverage.
Too Faced Melted Peony Lipstick – These melted lipsticks are super opaque liquid lipsticks. They’re just so intense. My favorite is Melted Peony, a pretty dusty rose color. They go on quite creamy on the lips with a bit of slip, and very little stickiness. I think they can be a bit drying on the lips but if you use a really good lip balm underneath, there shouldn’t be any drying feel at all. At least not on me.
