KJAER WEIS CREAM BLUSH COMPACT

The Ultimate Luxe Green Beauty

KJAER WEIS CREAM BLUSH COMPACT

I recently started exploring a couple beauty bits from Kjaer Weis, a luxury makeup brand that believes that everything should be, organic and sustainable. One such discovery is their Cream Blush in Sun Touched (US $56 each for 0.123 oz). This is the first I’ve tried anything from Kjaer Weis makeup-wise and it was love at first swatch. These Kjaer Weis blushes has a cream formula. There are 10 colors, and I only have one. I received this as a press sample.

SUN TOUCHED – A rich coral; brightens and creates a warm, radiant glow.

At $56 each these are very expensive green beauty brand but I suppose if you factor in the quality of the case (the lid slides open), quality of the product and the fact that you can refill it, its on-par with other high-end brands. Plus they are certified organic. The packaging itself is a work of art, very heavy and luxe but the stuff inside? Wow, now there’s a beauty. I should point out that the compact is refillable, and the refills cost $32; so if you don’t want to splurge on the compact, this is an option to create your own palette.

This creamy and easily blendable texture cream blush provides a fresh-faced look with a dewy finish. It is infused with luxurious and organic ingredients such as Sweet Almond Seed Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba Seed Oil, Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil and Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract. This is super blendable, and has a gorgeous color payoff naturally. It has a hydrating formula, with just the perfect amount of color and provide a nice dewy glow without being too much. They are pigmented yet easy to blend and last all day without patchiness! This layers beautifully under and on top of all kinds of face products. I love how versatile these cream blushes are. I use it for cheeks, eye lids and lips!

Application is fairly simple, I apply with fingers by gently dabbing on the apples of my cheeks, a makeup sponge or use a small brush and gently sweep over the cheek area. The buildable formula allows you to control the color intensity from sheer to bold.

Bottom line: very pretty, well made, long lasting and classic. It stays on all day and gives your makeup/skin a fresh clean glow to it. It’s so natural looking and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. These can be worn for a natural barely there look, yet at the same time they can definitely be layered for more color. I know these are pricey but I recommend checking them out!

You can find the Kjaer Weis online here or on Beautylish.

Have you tried these before? If not do you have any Kjaer Weis favorites?
