MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Soft and Gentle (US $32.00 & CAD $37.00) is described on MAC website as “Gilded peach bronze”. This is a warmed-tone champagne compact powder highlighter with a frosty metallic finish. The color is intensely pigmented and the texture is smooth and finely milled giving the ability for easy application and blending. I find it gives a nice dewy sheen and makes my complexion look more radiant and fresh. This is a universal highlighter which means it is ideal for any skin tones. It does emphasized a bit of my fine lines and skin texture so be careful not to be too heavy handed.
You only need a dab on the brush for application to achieve the desired effect and a little goes a very long way. Because this is so buildable, you can achieve whatever intensity you desire for a beautiful flawless glow to the skin. This can be used to highlight the tops of your cheek bones, temples, brow bones, inner corner of your eyes, Cupid’s bow, decollate, and down the bridge of your nose and anywhere on the body.
As you can see from the photos, this is in the old packaging because I purchased mine just prior to MAC changing their packaging. The newer packaging is a sleek glossy black.
This is a beautiful highlighter and I recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile highlighting shade.
