Recently I had a chance to try some new products from the Rodial brand. They recently launched their innovative booster drops, scientifically developed using highly concentrated ingredient to target specific concerns. Rodial, is a well-known beauty brand from London. Their products have lasting effect on the skin and targeted to provide solution to specific skin problems. An innovation in skincare, the new Booster Drops are a collection of intensely targeted regeneration treatments. I was sent two: Retinol to minimise wrinkles and pigmentation AND Collagen to decrease the appearance of wrinkles.
Packaged in elegant glass dropper bottles, the booster drops can be mixed with your existing skincare regime for a more targeted effect. The formulas can also be used simultaneously and applied to specific areas of the face for a fully tailored treatment.
This is a collection of highly concentrated, single ingredient serum formulas to supercharge your skincare regime. 10% Retinol Complex is a rejuvenating concentrate designed to deliver proven anti-ageing results. This potent, skin revitalising active increases the rate of cell turnover, diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful looking complexion. Uneven skin tone and pigmentation are targeted while the appearance of pores is visibly reduced for a clearer, brighter, rejuvenated complexion.
This one is a collection of highly concentrated, single ingredient serum formulas to supercharge your skincare regime. 30% Collagen Complex is a replenishing concentrate designed to support skin renewal and target multiple signs of visible ageing. This strong, active protein re-densifies the complexion, aids skin elasticity and prevents the visible formation of wrinkles to reveal a visibly hydrated, plump complexion.
I use these drops before my serum/moisturizer during my night-time skincare routine. I massage 3, sometimes 4 drops onto cleansed skin. I use the Collagen drops every night. Since I have combo/dry skin and my skin can get extremely dry in winter, I only use the Retinol drops once, sometimes twice a week (as over-usage of Retinol can cause drying and irritation of skin). Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A, and is included in many skincare products due to its amazing benefits for the skin. Retinol works to do a variety of things to the skin, including reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, fading dark spots and hyperpigmentation, and increases cell turnover while stimulating collagen and elastin production. If instructions are follow and the Retinol drops are only used once or twice per week, it shouldn’t strip the skin because it has softening oils to stop the skin from drying out. Retinol is a strong ingredient on the skin, so you would not use it every day.
The consistency of the Retinol drops are on the oily side but the Collagen drops feel like a more watery serum-like consistency and is very hydrating on the skin. Both of these drops feel really great on the skin and layers really well with other serums and moisturizers. I have definitely seen a difference – my skin feels smoother after use and in the morning my skin is more hydrated, brighter, and plumped looking. Don’t expect miracles with these but you can count on visible improvement for lots of common skin issues.
Have you tried Rodial? Let me know what your favorite product from the brand is.
