Quite a few eyeshadow palettes launched during the holiday 2017 season. The holiday season is the perfect time to scoop up a few new palettes. It seemed like every brand was releasing numerous limited edition sets to tempt us. So many beautiful packaging, trendy hues and luxurious textures. I’m having a bit of a pull towards eyeshadows at the moment, so today, I wanted to share with you three that I’ve been loving and using quite a lot. Eyeshadow palettes are some my favourites to use, because they have such a variety of shades that can work with anyone! I have created a few looks with these palettes I’ll be sharing on my Instagram over the next couple weeks.
Natasha Denona Holiday Aeris Eyeshadow Palette 5 (US $48.00) – This is probably one of the prettiest eyeshadow palettes I own. This is a limited edition palette that features four shimmering, sparkly shades and one matte. I love the colour selection. The ice blue is just so beautiful. I don’t have anything like it in my collection. The shades are very pigmented, smooth and long-wearing. They are very easy to blend, layer and mix. Natasha Denona shadows are some of the best I’ve tried as I find the formula to be exceptional. You can use this palette not only for dramatic looks, but also for everyday looks. If you like sparkle shadows, then these are for you. This one even made my 2017 Beauty Favourites.
NARS NARSissist Wanted Eyeshadow Palette (US $59.00) – This gorgeous palette contains 12 new and primarily warm shades that feature an all-new formula. Featuring a versatile range of pale pinks, nudes, and glistening rose golds that play well on all skin tones. I love the variety of shades and textures. It has a nice mix of buttery mattes, satins, shimmers, and glittering metallic finishes; and also one of those palettes that are perfect for day or evening looks. The colors are all excellent in pigment, texture and color payoff. The mattes are smooth and the shimmers are just so beautiful. All the shades just works perfectly together!
Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette (US $65.00) – The palette features 18 richly-pigmented shades in a variety of textures such as mattes, pressed pearls, duo-chrome toppers, and one pure glitter. I found the pigmentation varied but most were pigmented and mostly blendable. The shimmering shades are much creamier than the mattes in my opinion. Since I don’t own any of her other palettes, I must say I am really enjoying this one and find that the shades are all very beautiful. I like that it has a good amount of versatility, and you could create a variety of looks with this palette. From subtle, natural looks to dramatic statements and bold glittering looks, this palette will become your new essential for all your makeup routines.
All of these palettes are still available online at Sephora and some retailers.
Here’s a look I created using the Natasha Denona Aeris palette! It’s a Copper Eye with a Pop of Blue.
Did you pick up any of these palettes? What Eyeshadow palettes are you loving lately?
