For Spring, Too Faced is expanding their Melted Lipsticks line with some browns and nudes with six new Liquified Lipsticks called Melted Chocolate. This is a collection of Melted and Melted Metal Liquified Lipsticks that are infused with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and a mood-boosting chocolate scent. These features exclusive technology inspired by the molten form of lipstick during lab production to give these lipsticks a melted texture that imparts bold color and rich shine.
Of the six new shades of Too Faced Melted Chocolate Liquified Lipstick, there are three creams and three metallic shimmery chocolate inspired shades; however, today I’ll be sharing two of them with you:
• Metallic Chocolate Diamonds (Sheer Glossy Nude Brown with Silver Glitters)
• Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate (Mauvy Brown Shimmer)
I’m not sure how the cream formulation performs compare to these; but although they have glitters/shimmers, the texture is not at all gritty but feels smooth and applied evenly during application. They are incredibly sheer and look quite similar to each other. I prefer the original cream formula over the metallic formula, but that’s just my preference. I just love any cream lipstick formulation as I find they are the most comfortable to wear. What I love is that they smell like chocolate, almost like hot fudge. Although I have only two from the collection of six, I really like Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate as I find that it is wearable against my medium/olive complexion because I find that I don’t pull off browns all that well and I don’t really like a deep dark brown lip. These lasted on me an average of 2-4 hours but the glitter particles hang around for a bit longer. The formula was moisturizing and comfortable to wear. If you like browns, then I think these are worth looking into. These come in a squeeze tube with sponge tip applicators.
These retail for CAD $25.00 / US $21.00 and are now available at Sephora and Too Faced.
