LISA GRODEK 

This collection is a crochet fashion representation of the crinoline fashion from 1842-1870 in combination with elements from the late Renaissance, early Baroque fashion and design elements from the 1920s to 1960s. In a revolutionary approach, designer LISA GRODEK replaces the original fabric materials from these fashion eras exclusively with high-quality yarn.

The brand comes all the way from Germany to show their “Delicate Mesh” collection.

Returning to the runway for their fall/winter collection is /AMIR | SAM. Titled “Mutinous Ceremony,” the purpose of these styles is to present a dark symphony of empowerment with the hope of redefining Vancouver’s fashion landscape. This featured brand embodies vibrant, high-concept statement wear. They lead with print-driven fashion and strong graphics. DOH TAK KEH garments range from shirts to pantsuits, that all leave a lasting impression.

Blending 70’s Bollywood glam with Mumbai’s street culture, the attire features bling and hand embroideries. The collection utilizes bemberg twill and tencel rayon flex.

An independent menswear label founded in 2022, CLLASHE is a beacon of creativity as it merges the ominous allure of the badlands with the raw beauty of a fallen metropolis.

With roots in both Tokyo and New York City, “Until We Meet Again” collection rewrites the narrative of collision and cohesion. It celebrates the beauty found within the fractures of our world as well as resilience in the face of change.

KUBO SAN MADE  

Japanese designer Shizue Kubo developed this collection with the incorporation of retro French into the garments in mind. The essence of KUBO SAN MADE expresses modern times by mixing elements such as paper and ink dyeing. It offers a melting pot of culture in their choice of materials, patterns, and silhouettes.

EMJOTA STUDIO  

Hailing from Vancouver, EMJOTA STUDIO was created in 2021 with an aim to combat the cult of rampant consumerism and the uprising of fast fashion. With an initial focus on soft corsets and upcycled denim, their designs have elevated to create unique pieces for all aesthetics.

Their runway debut collection is heavily inspired by the presence of gothic and romantic elements. It includes rich metals and deep colours to put a big emphasis on the drama factor.
