I’ve been curious about Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes for quite some time and though not a makeup artist or professional by any means, I still really wanted to try them given the positive reviews I’ve heard. However, I honestly did not want to splurge on the larger palettes and by the time they had released the Theory Palettes last year, they were sold out every time I decided to pick one up and along the way, I of course got distracted by all the other pretty shiny and sparking new releases. So when this Petit Pro was recently released, I decided okay, this was my chance to nab this one before it sold out. So here I am with my first Viseart Eyeshadow palette and let me tell you, it’s TINY!!.
So I picked up the Petit PRO which has 8 eyeshadows which are extremely pigmented and smooth in finish. The Viseart Eyeshadow Palette has rich colors in matte (top row) and shimmer (bottom row) textures—curated from Viseart’s heritage Parisian formulas.
I’ve been playing with this for a few days now and the colors are absolutely stunning and perfect for all year round. If you know me and have been reading my blog for a bit, then you know I personally prefer shimmery shadows over matte; although I have recently found a new love for mattes but shimmers still got my heart. Texture and blendability of these are excellent and they are very pigmented. The mattes apply smoothly and blend easily. The shimmers are buttery, soft and so smooth and also blended with incredible ease. All the colors are easy to work with and layer together. I really like it so far as the colors are well coordinated and offers a wide range from light to medium to deep colors. The eyeshadow wore well for eight hours (no primer used) on me with no signs of fading.
It has the same packaging as the Theory palettes, a black flip-up top, and the little pans sit in a plastic magnetized casing and the shadows are removal as there are little notches where you can take the little pans out. There’s also a little mirror inside, and the palette slips in and out of a cardboard cover.
For small as it is (CAD $40 / US $30.00 for 0.21 oz.), you’re actually getting a decent amount of product in there and come on, I know I’ll never hit pan on most of the colors so getting this miniature-sized is certainly a good way to try Viseart formula. Quick looks below using the Viseart Petit Pro palette – On the lips I’m wearing the new Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in both photos (will have review soon on these two shades).
Overall, I’m very impressed with the formula and quality of these shadows and highly recommend you guys check it out. It’s also a great travel-sized palette. If you have been wanting to try Viseart Palettes but get overwhelmed with larger eyeshadow palettes (Like I do sometimes) then this miniature-sized is a perfect way to start.
You can find the Viseart Theory Palettes online now at Sephora.
Have you tried Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes before? If so what did you think?
