As I’ve gotten older, I have been getting more interested in skincare. I’ve always been interested but I am now very particular what I use because not only do I want it to be good for my skin, but I want it to be hydrating as well; especially when you’re living in a cold country where the cold weather strips all the moisture from your skin.
Serums are one of my favorite skincare products to use as I love how much of an instant effect they have on my combination/dry, dehydrated skin.
This serum has a really gentle formula which doesn’t sting or irritate my sometimes sensitive skin. It helps my moisturizer to really penetrate through the skin’s surface and keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. It isn’t dry but it isn’t oily either. It says it “tightens face skin and smoothes wrinkles”…..I don’t have wrinkles but I can’t say I’ve seen any difference in the tightness of my skin yet; but it has certainly plump up my skin making it a little plumper and softer and best of all hydrated.
It comes in a red glass bottle with a nice little pump and it smells beautiful and almost fresh. I use 2-3 pumps at night depending on the needs of my skin. I have also started applying it in the morning after cleansing my skin and I love how lightweight and silky it feels. It’s a white lightweight lotion that looks more like a moisturizer than a serum. It sinks right into the skin after application effortlessly leaving no greasy residue behind. It also brightens my skin leaving it looking awake, dewy and fresh.
I’ve been using the Yves Rocher Serum Vegetal Wrinkles & Firmness Ultra-Plumping Serum for over a month now and as you can see, I have only used about a ¼ of the product.
Overall I really like this serum a lot and it is a wonderful addition to my skincare routine.
