My Favorite Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

Favourite-MakeupGeek-Eyeshadows-makeup-geek-beauty002Favourite-MakeupGeek-Eyeshadows-makeup-geek-beauty003I have talked a bit about eyeshadow palettes on my blog so I decided to do a series on some of my favorite single shadows. Today I am starting with my favorite Makeup Geek Shadows. As much as I love palettes, I also love the idea of building your own palette and storing them in Z palettes! Makeup Geeks shadows are pigmented, super easy to blend, and comes in multiple finishes. The shadows are great quality that are inexpensive (US $5.99), have excellent color payoff with a soft, smooth consistency that is incredibly easy to use. The formula is smooth, buttery, finely milled and blends very well. They are long lasting even without eye primer. What I also love is that they are perfect for creating an everyday neutral makeup look, and are perfect as transition colours, or in the crease.

Cosmopolitan | Rose Gold with gold flecks and a shimmery finish
Adorned with small gold flecks for added style, this impressive color is perfect for a refined soft look in the day, or a paired up with darker shades for a sultry, hot look at night.
Peach Smoothie | A light peach beige with a soft matte finish
This light peach/beige color has a soft matte finish which makes it ideal for blending out harsh shades or on the lower lid to help create a stunning neutral look. A great universal transition shade and my most used shade. I did a review on this that you can read here.
Cocoa Bear | Matte reddish brown
A beautiful color and the perfect warm crease color.
Shimma Shimma | Metallic Champagne, that is perfect to highlight the inner corner of the eyes.
I have also used it as a cheek highlighter and it is stunning. This is one of my favorite shimmer shadows from MUG. I did a review on this that you can read here.
Gold Digger | True metallic gold
This eye shadow is a great shimmery gold color.
Chickadee | Matte Yellow Orange
This is a fun orange eyeshadow that makes any eye look pop!
