Pat McGrath Labs is looking back at some of the artistry that helped define the brand with its latest launch, The Backstage Artistry Collection.

Rather than introducing one standalone product, the new collection brings together a selection of eye, face and brow products inspired by the kind of dramatic, highly crafted beauty looks that have long been associated with Pat McGrath’s work backstage and in editorial.

And there’s a particularly notable first here: Invisibrow Gel is Pat McGrath Labs’ first-ever brow product.

What’s in the Backstage Artistry Collection?

The Pat McGrath Labs Backstage Artistry Collection includes five new products: three Luxe Eyeshadow Quads, one Color Blitz Face Quad and the new Invisibrow Gel.

The collection moves between more understated neutrals, romantic tones and high-impact jewel shades, giving it a distinctly editorial feel without being limited to one particular makeup aesthetic.

Film Noir Nude Eyeshadow Quad

For lovers of a classic smoky eye, Film Noir Nude centers around taupe, neutral and deeper noir-inspired shades designed for sculpting and definition.

It’s probably the most understated of the three eyeshadow quads, but still has that polished, dramatic quality you would expect from a collection inspired by backstage artistry.

Rose Rebellion Eyeshadow Quad

Rose Rebellion takes the palette in a softer direction with dusty rose tones and champagne-like shimmer.

The colour story feels more romantic than dramatic, making this one a little more approachable for anyone who prefers rosy neutrals but still wants some dimension and shine.

Emerald Enigma Eyeshadow Quad

Then there’s Emerald Enigma, which brings the colour.

This quad features jewel-toned shades and metallic finishes built around rich emerald-inspired colour. It’s the boldest of the three eyeshadow stories and very much for anyone who likes their eye makeup to make a statement.

Color Blitz Face Quad

The Color Blitz Face Quad moves beyond the eyes with vivid matte shades alongside an electric blue metallic.

It has a more playful, almost punk-inspired attitude than the neutral and rosy palettes, giving the collection another completely different direction.

Invisibrow Gel

Perhaps the most interesting addition for longtime Pat McGrath Labs fans is Invisibrow Gel, the brand’s first brow launch.

Available in six shades, the brow gel is designed to be buildable, allowing for anything from more natural-looking definition to a much more dramatic, bleached-brow-inspired effect.

Considering how influential Pat McGrath has been in shaping editorial and runway makeup, a brow product feels like a particularly fitting addition to the lineup.Pat McGrath Labs Backstage Artistry Collection Everything to Know About the New Launch

A Collection Rooted in Backstage Beauty

What makes the Backstage Artistry Collection interesting isn’t simply the number of new products. It’s the idea behind it.

Pat McGrath’s influence on runway beauty has always extended far beyond a single makeup trend. Her work has moved between beautifully diffused skin, intense smoky eyes, unexpected colour, metallic finishes and the kind of transformative brow looks that tend to make their way from fashion week to beauty inspiration boards.

This collection brings some of those ideas into a lineup designed for experimenting at home.

And while each product has its own colour story, they collectively feel like a snapshot of the artistry that has made Pat McGrath such a recognizable name in makeup.

Pat McGrath Backstage Artistry Collection: Price & Availability

The Luxe Eyeshadow Quads and Color Blitz Face Quad retail for $62 USD each, while Invisibrow Gel is $24 USD.

The collection is available through Pat McGrath Labs, subject to availability.

For me, this is one of those launches that feels less about chasing the next viral makeup product and more about celebrating the artistry behind the brand. The range of colour stories also makes it easy to see how differently the collection can be interpreted depending on your makeup style.

If you’re a Pat McGrath fan, which piece from the Backstage Artistry Collection caught your eye first?
