How many neutral eyeshadow palettes does a girl need? That’s the questions I have being asking myself and I do not have an answer. There is always a new one that comes along that changes your mind in an instant. When I saw the Dior Eye Reviver Eyeshadow Palette I knew I had to get it since it is advertised as a universally-flattering brightening neutral palette; and of course how could you say no to these stunning colors and packaging. This is the first palette from Dior to brighten the eyes using luminous, universal neutral shades.
The packaging is beautiful and the palette is encased in a sleek glossy reflective, mirrored silver case embossed with Dior’s logo with a full mirror on the inside, and 2 mini brushes. Just like all of Dior’s compacts, this comes in its own velvet pouch. When you open the compact, you will also find a plastic insert with everything labeled.
Dior Eye Reviver Eyeshadow Palette housed five eyeshadow shades and one eye liner. The Eye Reviver Palette contains a mix of very soft neutrals and is described as an illuminating eye palette that contains what Dior calls “Glow-Mimetics technology” which brighten the eyes with a radiance-boosting effect. The texture of the powders are soft, smooth, buttery, and super easy to apply and blend. They are of good pigmentation and creamy and not chalky at all. The colors are subtle and elegant with the right amount of shimmer, not glittery or over the top. The primer and eyeshadows provide all-day wear without creasing, and the gel liner works great too; it is easily buildable and on my eyes it didn’t smudge or bleed once you let it set. Each color layered together and blends out effortlessly. This is a stunning palette that is perfect for everyday use and travel. It is perfect for creating a subtle and natural look and also great for creating a smoky look for an evening out by using the darker colors.
shade #1 – Base Primer or all over base, a satin cream light beige shadow
shade #2 – Eyeshadow, a light peachy tan shadow
shade #3 – Eyeshadow, a light warm taupe shadow
shade #4 – Eyeshadow, a shimmery taupe-mauve color with light plum undertones
shade #5 – Eyeshadow, a black brown plumy shadow with light shimmer
shade #6 – Soft Black eyeliner with no shimmer
This palette is a neutral lover’s dream but after testing this for a few weeks, this is not a must-have palette. I find it similar to Urban Decay Naked 2 and Tom Ford Nude Dip, both of these palettes I adore, so if you have any of these palettes or even the MAC Eye Shadow x15: Cool Neutral, then you don’t need this. Also, I don’t believe it will work on every skin tone, although it is a beautiful palette. Overall, this is a good basic palette and I like it a lot! Overall rating: 4.3/5

I like that it comes with an eyeliner, but it is really expensive and the other comparable versions you mentioned are less expensive and come with more shadows 🙂 Nice post!!!
