Arbonne Smoothed Over Lipstick Review

If you’re unfamiliar with Arbonne, they are a safe vegan cosmetics brand and are all about being green. Their slogan is “Our products are good for you, and kind to the earth.”

They recently launched the Arbonne Cosmetics Lip Collection that consists of lipsticks, liners and glosses to support a youthful lip appearance while also moisturizing. I was sent the following five lipsticks for review:
-Guave – a coral orange shade
-Camellia – a pink shade with purple undertone
-Rose – a neutral muted pinky mauve shade
-Lotus – a peached brown shade
-Flora – a brownish mauve color with berry tonesThe packaging is simple yet classy and the lipstick comes in a sturdy black tube that features the name of the shade on the bottom and the unique AA logo engraved onto the bullet. It has a really good weight to it that feels expensive. These lipsticks are enriched with natural ingredients and contains moisturizing properties using peptides, fruit and plant extracts to create a hydrating formula that plump the lips while reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles. They contain Hyaluronic Acid to help provide long-lasting hydration by distributing a moisturizing layer on the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; while Peptides add moisture and visibly increase the look of lip volume.The formula on these Arbonne Smoothed Over Lipsticks are incredibly smooth, creamy and hydrating with intensely rich colour. It had opaque pigmentation with a creamy consistency that applied without tugging and lasted for 5-6 hours on me. It went on evenly and smoothly and has a satin/glossy finish that feels comfortable and lightweight. The color payoff is excellent with only a couple of swipes need. I love how the lipsticks smell like fruit, but not chemically sweet. These are easily buildable for a bold lip but you can sheer them out by blending them with your fingertips. I recommend either exfoliating your lips or putting on lip balm before applying these as they might cling to dry patches. I like applying these over the Arbonne Intelligence Lip Treatment.

Overall, these are really fantastic lipsticks and I must say they honestly surprised me. If you like vegan certified products that are not tested on animals, free from mineral oil, dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic and formulated without gluten or parabens or you are just a lipstick lover, then for sure you will like these. These lipsticks are amazing and definitely worth a try!
