This is my first Stila palette and oh it is beautiful. I have Kitten eyeshadow single and it is one of my all-time favorite shade. Eyes Are the Window Shadow Palettes, Inspired by the spiritual notion that true beauty is revealed from within, Stila created endless looks with this Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette. The packaging is very elegant and beautiful. Encased in exquisite, jewelry-inspired compacts—a blend of rose, yellow, and white golds—this shadow palette includes a look book curated by Sarah Lucero, stila’s Global Executive Director of Creative Artistry.Stila Spirit Eyes Are the Window Shadow Palette is a luxurious palette that includes twelve eyeshadows with pops of colours that offers many versatile looks, with pale gold, nudes, warm copper, reds and chocolate tones in a mixture of shimmer, satin and matte finishes; so you can create many dynamic looks. It is the perfect mix of both cool and warm-toned shades. The shadows are soft, buttery and blends effortlessly together to create beautiful looks, with very minimal fall out. There are only 2 matte shades – Chinois, a matte cream-toned shade and Puppy, a matte warm-toned brown shade, which are perfect for transition shades and they also have more sheer pigmentation with less smooth formula. However, the texture of the shimmery shades are more smoother and pigmented than the mattes. Even the lighter shades have good pigmentation and show up on my skin. The other 10 shades are a mix of frosty and shimmery shades. Pigalle is a great cranberry addition and makes the whole palette really versatile, just perfect for creating fall looks and surprisingly, my favorite from the mix, aside from my beloved Kitten of course. The shades in Row 1 & 2 are absolutely beautiful and while all the shades creates stunning looks, I often wear the shades in these rows more often, especially row #1. The shadows wore well for 7-8 hours before creasing and/or fading. The shades are:
– Kitten – a warm-toned Metallic champagne shimmer
– Puppy – Soft brown matte
– Pigalle – Cranberry maroon shimmer
– Oasis – pale gold shimmer
– Jezebel – Coral copper shimmer with some peach tones
– Barefoot – warm brown shimmer with plum undertones
– Wheat – Wheat sand shade with metallic shimmer
– Golightly – bronze metallic finish shimmer
– Espresso – grey slighter shimmer
– Chinois – Pale Vanilla matte
– Slate – taupe grey shimmer with lavender tones.
– Pewter – charcoal with silvery shimmer and royal blue undertones(Swatches L-R top-bottom: kitten, puppy, pigalle, oasis, jezebel, barefoot, wheat, golightly, espesso, chinois, slate, pewter)
Overall, I am a huge fan of this palette. I only wished I had gotten it sooner. Find it now at Sephora and Scarlet & Julia.
