Chanel Les Beiges collection welcomes its latest innovation, the Healthy Glow Foundation.
Said to be an invisible foundation that embellishes a natural healthy glow by giving it the radiance of a day spent outdoors, while protecting it from harsh environmental conditions. Kalanchoe extract help protect the skin from harsh environmental conditions and provides moisturising properties. While “Healthy Glow Booster” mineral pigments instantly deliver a healthy glow dazzling with freshness and hyaluronic acid provides an instant sensation of hydration and comfort that lasts all day long.
It comes in a frosted glass pump bottle that dispenses a good amount for sheer coverage in one to two pumps. It feels luxurious and looks stunning. I like my coverage medium, so I do one application, blended, then go over again if I need to. I bought shade N40 which has yellow undertone and is a great match for my skin (NC 40).
CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation is a light-to-medium coverage foundation that has a lightweight creamy consistency with a semi-matte yet beautiful natural radiant finish. The texture isn’t runny; but feels more like a moisturizer texture than a traditional foundation texture. The soft and comfortable texture glides over the skin and melts away. It doesn’t look cakey at all nor does it feel heavy on the skin but the foundation melts into the face and enhances your complexion naturally, evens the skin and provide a very natural glow. I have combination/dry skin and I can often get dry patches around my nose; however, the Healthy Glow foundation doesn’t enhance my dry areas, which is awesome! However, exfoliating is recommended. It lasts exceptionally well throughout the day and I can get around 6 hours wear time before it starts to look shiny around my t-zone. This is my first Chanel foundation and I am impressed and in love! It does not appear that this foundation contains any SPF as the SPF part is completely covered by a black sticker so it appears the formula being sold here in Canada does not have SPF which is disappointing. It does have the Chanel signature scent to it which is quite lovely.
