DIORSKIN NUDE AIR LUMINIZER POWDER

DIORSKIN NUDE AIR LUMINIZER POWDER

Dior initially released the Diorskin Nude Air Luminzer 001 as part of their Fall 2016 Skyline Collection (previously reviewed here) and this highlighter became an instant hit with many because of just how beautiful it is. I still can’t believe I didn’t picked it up initially. This Spring 2017 Dior subsequently added three more shades to the range, 002, 003 and 004. The new Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer in 001, the shade I picked up of the four and the one that appeals to me the most, is absolutely stunning so I wanted to give a quick review of this since I’ve been using it almost every day since I bought it.

Here is a swatch of the highlighter – This is very accurate on my skintone in natural sunlight. I’m super pale now and what I’ve realized is that this highlighter actually looks different on everyone’s skintone. Nonetheless, it’s ridiculously beautiful!

It comes with an embossed design on the surface and also a mini kabuki brush that I honestly never use so I sometimes throw them out or put them in a drawer. Dior described these highlighters as “a powder as light as a breeze, featuring a formula highly concentrated with illuminating pigments in a universal shade that can be adapted to any skin tone.”

This particular shade is a beautiful champagne gold highlighter with some peach hues to it with a gorgeous sheen. The texture is so incredible smooth to the touch, finely milled and blends beautifully into the skin. I like that it did not emphasize pores or the skin’s natural texture and it also didn’t make my skin look dry like some highlighters sometimes can. This doesn’t happen to only me right?? The glow this gives the skin is positively radiant and it just makes the skin looks dewy and beautiful. I’m a fan, huge fan of this highlighter!! Of the four shades, I think this shade is probably the most universal for a broader complexion range.

These are quite pricey highlighters at US $56 / CAD $68 and I picked mine up at Sephora. Whether this or the others are a must-have or not will depend on your makeup stash and just how much you love highlighters and I love me some highlighters ?

Did anyone pick this up or any of the other shades?

xo ❤
