Combat Puffiness and Dark Circles
There’s something so luxurious-feeling about an eye mask, especially when we’re spending all our time at home. It can be tempting to spend all day in various hydrating masks. So, getting the chance to try Viicode Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles was very exciting after previously trying their All Night Repair Mask.
When I’m not sleeping well, it shows up on my eyes and my under-eye area is puffy, dry and the dark circles are very visible. One sleepless night or a super-early morning and suddenly you’re cursed with dark circles and puffy bags. So, with the promise to significantly reduce dark circles and smooth wrinkles, VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask For Dark Circles seemed to be exactly what I needed.
From the website:
The unique high concentration extract made for dark circles, a unique source of nutrients and water penetrate deep into the bottom layer of the skin, instantly activating the blood circulation capacity of the microvasculature, like a magnet to absorb melanin and pigmentation, so that the skin is refreshed and rejuvenated, significantly reducing dark circles, smoothing wrinkles, always maintain a healthy state of glowing and elasticity specifically for long-term dark circles, eye dullness, It also helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles.
To use this mask is very easy; just open the sachet and you’ll find two pieces of mask inside. Peel off the protective layer of the mask and place it on the under-eye area. For best results, Viicode recommends you wear the masks for 6-8 hours. I personally wear the mask for 30-60 minutes while taking a nice bath.
The mask has a gel like texture. With ingredients such as caffeine, tea polyphenols and retinol, these eye mask reduces the look of dark circles and fine lines overtime with continuous use. Caffeine fights puffiness and promotes circulation. I’ve noticed that my under-eye area looked so much smoother and dark circles are minimized, but I feel like the masks could be a bit more hydrating. I did not experience any sensitivity or irritation from using them. The masks pieces are sticky enough to adhere to the skin and should stay in place (I had no trouble with them falling off), but if they come a little loose, it is easy to reposition them if needed. I love using eye masks, so for me, these are more of a splurge treatment and something I’d use once in a while when I want to pamper myself.
The VIIcode Eye Masks are available on the brand’s site and on Amazon ($61), 1 Box of O2M Oxygen Eye Mask for dark circles (6 treatments per box). Each box contains 6 pairs of under eye masks which are meant to be used 2 to 3 times per week.
