It’s time to share my latest beauty obsessions and discoveries from the past month. I’m gonna get all cliché on you here and say, “I actually cannot believe that April is over and we’re already in the month of May”. I am however excited about May because this is the month I finally move into my new house after three delays so what’s not to be happy about. Also, is it just me but it seems the older I get, the quicker time flies. It also doesn’t quite feel like spring is here just yet in Toronto. Yesterday was a rainy gloomy day and most of this week will be cloudy with rain but makeup will always brighten my day so here are my beauty favorites……

Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Perfector
A must-have for warm-weather months is the new NAKED Skin One & Done. This very lightly tinted complexion perfector provides light coverage and smoothed and blurred away my imperfections, giving my skin an airbrushed, perfected look, without looking made up. Perfect for spring/summer and for a natural look.
This is a great multi-functional product that can be used as a primer to prepare skin for makeup application or as a facial moisturizer to instantly moisturizes, brightens, and tightens facial contours so skin looks rested and relaxed. I use this almost, if not every day (not as a primer) for that extra boost of hydration. I like to apply it after my moisturizer and before my primer and love how hydrated my face feels and my makeup looks fantastic!
This is an illuminating primer that leaves behind the most glowing base without any shimmer. It blurs imperfections and makes your makeup look pretty awesome! Love it!
Charlotte Tilbury Sex On Fire Cheek to Chic Blusher
This has been a staple this past month. It’s versatile and goes with just about any kind of look. It does have a pretty good amount of pigmentation, so use sparingly and build it up slowly!
Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Lipgloss
These are my favorite lip glosses of all time because they are just perfect for that effortless glow and a wash of color. They provide a beautiful shine to the lips, while still feeling really comfortable and smooth.
Niki Garret Pro Multipurpose Contour Brush F15*
When I received the 3 Piece Pro Brush Set, this was actually my least used one but then it was suggested that I use it to also apply my foundation and Ooh my goodness, am I glad I did. I am not kidding when I say this makes my foundation goes on easily and it leaves my skin with a natural yet flawless finish. So effective and fast. The bristles are very soft but also not too dense. One of the best brushes I’ve used for my foundation!
Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara
I absolutely love the original lash sensational mascara and when I initially purchased this, it was just to compare and honestly I wasn’t loving it that much but I must say this has been the only mascara I have reached for the past month. This mascara is infused with precious oil to condition lashes from root to tip, leaving them soft and fluttery. It gives the perfect amount of definition and length (not so much volume though) for an everyday look. I must also mentioned that this is a very wet formula so it may not be to everyone’s liking.
