Becca Cosmetics recently launched their new line of Sunlit Bronzers which are described as, “a shade for every skin tone…”. There are 5 shades in the line, and each bronzer was inspired by a tropical location so you’ll find shade names inspired by beach sands and island sunsets.

The shades in the line are:

  • Bali Sands – soft golden beige
  • Capri Coast – warm golden brown
  • Bronzed Bondi – medium amber
  • Ipanema Sun – medium auburn brown
  • Maui Nights – sienna kissed bronze

The pans comes with an embossed wave like pattern. I picked up the shade Bronzed Bondi, a medium amber shade for medium skintones evokes a dreamy, all-day at the beach tanned look. I like bronzers but I don’t use them all that often (mostly out of sheer forgetfulness or I’m just too lazy) but since warmer weather is finally here, I thought I would add a couple new ones to my collection. This bronzer features just enough shimmer for that radiant glow but don’t worry, once the bronzer is blended on the skin there is just a nice sheen to the skin without any noticeable shimmer. The powder’s silky texture feels so soft and amazing and looks very natural on the skin. It is nicely pigmented and perfect on my medium-olive complexion. It blends beautifully with the skin and it didn’t emphasize fine lines.

As I don’t use bronzers often, I only have a few but my favorite bronzer of all time has always been the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer. With that being said, the more I use this, the more I really like it because it isn’t orange on my skin but just gives a perfect sunkissed bronzed glow. I’ve now added it to my very small pile of bronzers as a favorite. If you’re a fan of all things bronzers, then I recommend you check these out and give them a swatch.

The new Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzers are available at beccacosmetics.com and Sephora at CAD $46 / US $38.
