When I am really busy and I don’t have a lot of time to devote to my beauty routine, I turn to my tried and true beauty products to make me feel put together! We all have our favourite beauty products that always come through. Here are my must-have products that are my favorite secret weapons for getting out the door quick!
Tinted moisturizer.
I can completely forego foundation; I do it all the time but I like to apply a light base to even out my skin tone while also allowing my skin to breathe. The bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is my go to for those kind of days.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Perfect Brow Pencil.
I always keep a spare brow pencil in my makeup bag. This brow pencil is my favorite and I’ve been through several of them. I love the formula for its high pigmentation, blendable texture, and how smooth and precise it is. You can get a fierce sharp look or a soft one.
Hourglass Blush in Diffused Heat.
Whenever I’m not sure what blush to use with a makeup look, this one has always been my tried and true. It just works beautifully for me and it gives a gorgeous glow because of the lighting effects of the Ambient Lighting Powder, works on so many skin tone, and it just brightens up your complexion!
Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre.
This 3-in-1 lotion can be used as a moisturizer, makeup primer and moisturizing mask but it’s my secret weapons to providing my face with a dose of hydration without making it feel clogged up or overloaded. It keeps my combo-dry skin and any peeling at bay and hydrated. This cream is also amazing to wear under makeup. I really like it because it’s not heavy but still hydrates the skin and leaves my skin feeling very clean and soft.
Hourglass GIRL Lip Stylo Lipstick in Dreamer.
I recently picked up this lipstick and I’m in love with the formula and the color. I love a good peachy pink or nude lip and this GIRL Stylo is just the perfect peachy pink shade. This is perfect for on-the-go because it offers a nice sheen and has a very nourishing feel.
Mascara.
I don’t know about you, but no matter how much makeup I’m wearing or how little, I feel naked without mascara. It’s those short straight lashes of mine so mascara is an absolute must for me. If I don’t wear anything else, I need me some mascara and lip balm, okay maybe some brows too 🙂 I’ve been grabbing this one from L’Oreal a lot whenever I’m in a rush because it separates nicely and lightens my lashes.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiance Perfecting Pen.*
When I don’t have time to put full makeup on, I use a tiny little bit of this. If you’ve ever tried this concealer before, then you know it’s not the most high coverage concealer but it is perfect for minimal makeup and quick makeup days, as it brightens, smooths, and perfects your complexion with a natural-looking, radiant finish. It’s very lightweight so it is also great for touch-ups without caking on more product. I used it as a concealer and also to highlight the high points on my face.
Sunglasses.
Sunglasses are very stylish! They can hide the lack of sleep on your face, and instantly make you look more chic! I love these ones from Guess (similar here) because they’re versatile and look great anywhere.
