Burberry Kisses Lipstick

Burberry-Kisses-Lipstick-review-pinkpeony002This is my first ever Burberry lipstick, and the first of many. The Kisses formula is breathable, weightless, sheer and fragrance free with a creamy gel texture. Burberry Pink Peony is the perfect warm medium pink and perfect to be worn all year round. It has very subtle sheen and looks beautiful. I was in love as soon as I opened the box.

I absolutely adore the packaging on these lipsticks with its silver metallic packaging and magnetic cap with the Burberry signature plaid embossment on the actual bullet of the lipstick.Burberry-Kisses-Lipstick-review-pinkpeony001Burberry-Kisses-Lipstick-review-pinkpeony003Infused with Burberry’s signature blend of rosehip, tea, and lavender, its ultralight texture glides on with maximum comfort while providing continuous hydration. These lipsticks are described as a hydrating, effortlessly buildable lipstick with satin finishes. I would definitely say they are lightly hydrating with a glossy finish. I definitely recommend you exfoliate your lips before wearing these lipsticks. These Burberry Kisses Lipsticks are designed to feel like a second skin on the lips and is supposed to give sheer to high coverage. One swipe gives a sheer even wash of color, or you can apply three layers to create intense depth and vibrancy without feeling heavy or tacky. This particular shade manage to keep my lips feeling moisturized throughout wearing for about 5 hours and faded after eating and drinking.

There are 28 shades available from nudes to brights and can be found at The Bay.com, Holt Renfrew and Sephora, CAD $36.00 / US $33.00.
