BURBERRY MY BURBERRY BLUSH

BURBERRY MY BURBERRY BLUSH

This past August, Burberry launched their latest addition to their fragrance collection. Inspired by the gardens in London, the Eau de Parfum which is called “My Burberry Blush” is a new sparkling and intensely feminine perfume.

Described as a bright, fresh and feminine floral scent, it represents the first light of day ‘as flowers blossom with a spirited burst of energy’. The fragrance opens with glazed pomegranate and vibrant lemon. Delicate rose petal notes are lifted with crisp apple, while a base of jasmine and wisteria accord round off the scent.

Top Notes: Lemon and Pomegranate

Middle Notes: Rose Petals, Green Apple & Geranium

Base Notes: Jasmine & Wisteria

Capturing the feminine elements of the fragrance, the bottle is enlivened with a feminine and sophisticated pink hue, reflecting the confident and spirited character of the new scent. The My Burberry signature design details remain with a lighter-shade horn-look lid, inspired by the buttons of the Burberry trench coat. A hand-tied gabardine knot around the neck of the bottle, honours the weatherproof fabric. Much like the My Burberry Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette and My Burberry Black, customers can personalise their bottles using the monogramming service that is available online and in select Burberry stores.

My Thoughts: This fragrance is a beautiful soft fruity floral scent that is not overpowering. If you love lighter scents, then you’ll prefer this one over the original and Black. This is not as concentrated as My Burberry. Lasting power is pretty good and I was able to smell it late in the afternoon from the morning spritz. To me it’s very much a spring/summer scent rather than a winter scent and you’ll smell the rose and jasmine but when you first spray it on, you get that citrus scent from the lemon mixed with the pomegranate.

Basically, this perfume smells absolutely lovely. It’s delicate and really fresh. And it’s cleaner and fresher than the original Burberry and much lighter than My Burberry Black.

The new Eau de Parfum My Burberry Blush is available at Hudson’s Bay, Sears, Sephora, Nordstrom, Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu, Uniprix, Familiprix, Brunet and Murale.
