Bye Bye Dry Skin with Nivea In-Shower Body Milk

Nivea-In-Shower-Body-Milk001

I was really excited to try out this product after watching one of my favorite YouTuber raving about it (the Lotion version). So ladies, if you are busy, always on the go or you have little Tykes like I do and you just don’t always have time to moisturize your skin but doesn’t want to have dry crusty skin, especially with the already dry cold temperature; then this is for you! Nivea In-Shower Body Milk moisturize your skin in the shower. It works by smoothing it on to your skin after washing and then rinse it off.

It is formulated with Almond Oil to be quickly and effectively absorbed by wet skin, moisturize instantly with no sticky feel and leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. It is really easy to use and very convenient and fun…it’s like you’re giving yourself a little pampering except that once you step out of the shower and dry off, you can get dressed right away!  This definitely saves a lot of time in the morning! The lotion is thick but becomes almost milky once you start rubbing it into your wet skin and absorbs very quickly into the skin leaving the skin silky smooth and hydrated but not at all greasy. It is fantastic for hydrating your skin if you are in such a rush and it does the job. The lotion has the same consistency as your regular body lotion, and it smells great (it has a nice Nivea scent.)

Overall I really like this product, the formula is great and it does provide some hydration but I wouldn’t say it gives my skin long-lasting hydration.  Keep in mind that this does not replace any shower gel/body wash or soap as there is no cleansing component to this product. It’s simply meant to replace the moisturizer you might use after your shower.

You can find the Nivea In-Shower Body Milk at most drugstores across Canada. I purchased mine at Walmart for $8.99 CAD.
