When I first received these Kat Von D fragrances I didn’t know that these weren’t brand new products. They are a revamped of her cult-status fragrances, Saint and Sinner. I’ve never sniffed the original ones but I’ve read that there are a few slight differences in the notes used in these newer ones.

The compositions remain faithful to the original; same OG scents in completely revamped bottles which Kat spent months hand-sketching. The packaging is just so Kat Von D, it’s so intricate and Victorian style (see the full size for the details).

The two perfumes are very different; Saint is a soft, feminine, warm floral gourmand fragrance and is the lighter aroma of the two and features notes of mandarin, vanilla, caramel, jasmine, and sandalwood. I’ve always prefer milder floral scent so of course I love this one! The vanilla balances the floral very well and isn’t overpowering. It isn’t too strong and has a nice fresh scent. This perfume is so versatile you can use it during the day and night! Hubby likes this one a lot. Sinner, in black, is sweet, spicier and boasts cinnamon, patchouli, and vanilla notes. I’m usually not into woody notes but lately I’ve been enjoying these types of scents and this one has a really wonderful musky scent; not too overpowering. It is not too heavy on the patchouli and it is sexy and mild at the same time. This is more of a night-time fragrance. The fragrances can be worn alone or layered together to create your own custom scent. The one disappointing thing about these scents are that they are not long wearing at all.FIRST IMPRESSION OF KAT VON D SAINT AND SINNER FRAGRANCES
