Getting Ready In 5-Minutes…

5-minute-makeup-minimal-makeup-look-getting Ready In 5 Minutes-2

Life is crazy busy, and when you’re a Mommy like myself, it’s even crazier and busier, so there are times when our makeup needs to be done, in literally a mommy minute. Okay, sure, you don’t have any kids, but you are still pressed for time and you need to be out that door 20 minutes ago, but we still want to look put together with a fresh face. With these time-saving steps and beauty bits, you’ll be looking fabulous and out the door in a flash! I timed myself using these products and it took me exactly 5-minutues…

Start with a lightweight base like a tinted moisturizer on freshly moisturized and primed skin. Clarins Beauty Flash Beauty* is a great multi-functional product that can be used as a primer to prepare skin for makeup application or as a facial moisturizer to instantly moisturizes, brightens, and tightens facial contours so skin looks rested and relaxed. Then for the lightweight coverage, I like using this Natasha Denona Face Glow Foundation that has light-reflecting particles to blur imperfections. I like that it can be applied very sheer, but can be layered for a little more coverage if needed. It does a decent job of covering minor imperfections, evening-out your skin tone, provides SPF 15 coverage and is perfect for a barely there look, leaving skin with a fresh natural glow.

Your brows are everything as they frame your face and make you look put together; so a quick no fuss sure way to keep your brows in place all day is with this Benefit Gimme Brow. I’ve being using it for years and have repurchased several times over! The fiber gel will add a tint and volume giving natural-looking brows. It’s a great little dandy product when you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to fill in your brows.

Brighten up those cheeks with a pretty natural flush. Using a cream cheek product will perk up your face and add enough color to give a healthy glow without being over the top while also granting a natural, long-lasting flush onto the cheeks. However, I like to reach for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat, a beautiful pink blush with peach undertones that gives a subtle sparkle and luminous glow that looks like it’s lit from within.

Like brows, Mascara is a must for me! I rarely wear eyeliner or false lashes so skipping these steps is a no brainer for me and come on, let’s be honest, when you only have 5 minutes to put on your face, the right mascara is all you need and that is where this Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara comes in. My fave drugstore mascara at the moment – it is affordable and it gives the illusion of full length and volume!

Finish off with a hydrating colour. I love the Dior Addict Lipsticks. Here’s I’m using the shade Bold, a pinkish mauve color. These are so moisturizing, super comfortable and feels feather light on the lips. No lip liner needed! This will give the look an even, healthy finish.

How do you get ready in 5-minutes or less? What are your go-to face products for a quick face?
